Park West Apartments

Just moved in a few months ago. This apartment is in an unbeatable location right by the park, which makes it perfect for walks and enjoying some green space. The staff are incredibly friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. Overall, it’s a great place to live with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent convenience.

Living here has been extremely difficult due to constant noise disturbances and lack of accountability from management. Noise: The courtyard amplifies sound into bedroom windows. Garbage service begins around 4 AM, junk removal crews arrive 5–6 AM, and leaf blowers run by 9 AM, several times a week. Trash pickup is Monday and Friday, Ally Waste does recycle organization rummaging through all of the bins on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Each around 5am for an hour. Sleep disruption is routine and you can surely expect loud banging and yelling amongst staff throughout the early mornings of the weekdays. Safe, secure spot to live. For a UCSF contract employee, this is the perfect housing option. Close to many delicious restaurants and parks. Across the street from the best park in SF (golden gate). Many amenities that you don’t get in SF normally. Safe parking.

If you want to live with at times a belligerent homeless man at 1240 14th ave and not feel safe then this is your place to live. I called the number for the manager only to get a leasing department and told them of the situation and the girl was rude laughed and said she would have someone get back to me. Never heard from anybody kept calling only to get their voicemail. I even called the emergency number on a Saturday and no response. This has been going on for almost a year and they could care less about their neighbors or their tenants. They have a responsibility as an owner to work with tenants and neighbors to resolve the problem. They could easily put up fencing or gates of some kind to keep them out of the area still allowing the cars to park. Since they don’t want to be workable, I

Booked a self-guided tour and received no ways to enter/tour the apartment. There’s no leasing office. No one answers the phone. You waste your time and gas driving here with no assistance. I can’t imagine what management is like once you live here.
