Park Place Apartments

I have been at Park Place Apts for 21+ years. I have seen managements come and go over the years. Deer Mtg. has been the best management team by far. Maintenance requests are completed timely and with the portal communication is effective. Although there was a sharp spike in rent initially when Deer Mtg. took over the rent has leveled off and is reasonable. The building is maintained inside and out consistently and continually. They have put together a good staff that really really cares. When they say they do management right it is true. And when they say you can call Park Place a place you can call home it is true. Haven't had heat for the past month and someone comes by to "fix it" but nothing changes besides mud on my floor from their boots. I've requested the heat to be fixed three times and not once has it worked for more than 24 hours. Complained about mice within the first week of living here and no one ever came to address it, the task was closed with no one actually solving the problem, even though it's in the contract they have to fix it and I've brought it to their attention multiple times since then. Neighbors won't stop screaming despite filing several noise complaints. Outside of the building is a dump, the parking lots are never clean and broken glass all over the place.

DO NOT RENT HERE. not even one month in and my apartment was infested with mice and roaches. That issue was never addressed. The trash is DISGUSTING (2 little dumpsters for over 50 apartments ?). The “mailbox’s” are broken and NOT SAFE and any packages will be taken. The heat was not working went the cold weather started and they wanted US to rent a space heater off of them instead of providing solutions for THEIR PROBLEM! The hot water did not work for almost a week in the middle of winter during the holidays when PEOPLE GATHER. On top of the apartment issues the leasing office then tried taking me to court for eviction while I was in the ICU (which was communicated with them the moment I woke from my coma). No matter how much you clean roaches still come, then you are stuck in the lease for a year !!! Worse experience by far and this is my first apartment I should have read the reviews. I learned a valuable lesson

Roaches and mice, not a safe place to live in general.
