My apartment has beautiful huge windows and 1 1/2 bathrooms, trees and birds all over, lovely. The downside is that I got an unrefurbished apartment last year for lower rent, because it's got cupboards from the olden days and old appliances from probably 1985, and suddenly one year later my rent is raised by $110 dollars because "they did a market analysis." I love how big corporations forget the human factor in these business relationships, and that people's incomes don't go up like the bills all do. I am simply not in the mental headspace to move one year after moving in here, so I'm paying about 10% more because I'm just a number to them. The new residential manager, Kayleigh, is so nice and on top of it! After every maintenance request, she has called and followed up with me to make sure everything went well and any issues were addressed. She sends informative emails and is always making sure residents are up to date! I really appreciate her taking the time our of her busy schedule to actually address issues when they come up and to listen to any concerns. Thank you to her and the maintenance team! :)

The 160.00 rent hike in 2 yrs is a heavy burden for someone on a fixed income. I’ve been living here for 5 yrs, but it’s becoming unaffordable. It’s too bad because I am very comfortable here. My ceiling was to be fixed months ago and the ripples in the rug are unattractive and could cause a fall.

My apartment is beautiful and I love it. It’s in a beautiful setting and is convenient to many stores, restaurant, and the large Regal theater complex. I love that I have a porch and can have window boxes and planters. Staff is always courteous and respectful and my neighbors are friendly and very nice. Although I have found maintenance to be very helpful, that is the biggest complaint with my fellow residents, that so many issues go unattended. My feeling is that they don’t know or understand the process of submitting a work order. I find that this process is very helpful and staff are so respectful, helpful and easy to talk to to explain any difficulties.

I have to assume that this request is about the water issue, from the ice build up, which has happened for two years in a row now. A permanent fix needs to happen not just quick fix.
