First off, I have to say that Bridget Light is one of the most professional, positive and friendly property managers that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in years. I moved here from Maryland a few months ago and I am so grateful for someone like her that helped make this a smooth and almost effortless process. Also, I must say that any minor thing that may come up or major (which I haven't experienced anything major) she is right on top of it and gets it resolved quickly. There were so many apartments to rent from when I moved here and her upbeat personality and professionalism made me confident that Park Dickens is somewhere I would want to stay for a long time. Lived here for about 15 months. Here's my take. Pros: Location - Sort of. Close to some cool places and good access for 405/101 but homeless people are frequently walking, screaming, and dumping their trash in the street. Maintenance - The Maintenance and cleaning staff here are great. Very nice people that work hard. The building has a portal where you can create maintenance request and someone usually comes fairly quickly to help out. Cons: - The Building - Extremely old and filled with deferred maintenance issues. Don't let the new paintjob of lime green balconies fool you (another example of owners/management doing the bare minimum when it comes to the building). I have had many issues with this management for the last few months but one of them that is really annoying is they are ignoring my emails and no one returns my call regarding the $25 that keeps showing on my monthly rent invoice. Once a person from Moss & Company management replied to my email that the charge is for "NSF"! I replied to her that I have paid my rent always on time and never been late. Can they show a prove that my account has been returned any of their charges and still they have not! I followed up with them and instead of trying to resolve my issue, they send me a "30 days notice" form if I want to move out! Yes this is how they treat their paying tenants! I've lived at Park Dickens for over 10 years and I have been very happy here. My apartment is comfortable and cozy. Management is pleasant and cooperative. The halls and lobby are immaculate. Maintenance is prompt. I've lived in a number of apartment buildings, and this is my favorite

Though only there for a short time, my experience with Moss & Company was exceptional. Always felt safe, looked after and loved the neighborhood. Wish I could stay longer.
