Park Crest at the Lakes

It's a shame to leave such a poor review after living in the community for 7 years. I put up with a lot just to keep the peace here. The damage from Hurricane Ian to my third floor unit was never repaired, though people entered my apartment multiple times to take photos of the water damage and blackened AC vents in the vaulted ceiling. I stopped having people over because it was embarrassing. The other reviews are right, Park Crest will refuse to do a walkthrough prior to you moving out and then bill you for damages that they said were "normal wear and tear" when you moved in. I'm so glad I took photos in 2018 to back up my claims so they can't take advantage of me living with a patched door and chewed up windowsills. Lived here for a while, it’s been okay.. the first day we moved in they’re were already ants everywhere assuming from the past renters. The screens on the patio and all the windows are cheap and have holes in them (not just 1 or 5 more like 10 in each) since we moved in. I tried to open the windows while it was cold out but instead got a bunch of big ants, spiders and other random insects fly on in. I’ve seen pretty much every bug you can think of except for roaches in the past few months. (Our apartment is very clean, and they’re multiple people with this issue. The maintenance team is great, they come quickly and get the issue resolved. Another thing I’ve noticed is that prior to even moving in there were already so many issues. I have been a resident at Park Crest At The Lakes since 2011. I can’t imagine living anywhere else! The staff here goes above and beyond to create a great living environment for the residents. The maintenance staff responds quickly to all requests. The office staff is very friendly and they constantly provide ways to show appreciation for the residents through events like The Summer Poil Party and Halloween parties. They also communicate frequently via email about what is going on. I hit the jackpot when I moved in here. Thank You Park Crest for being so awesome!!!

I am writing this review as my daughter's recently left their apartment last month. I advised them to perform a walk through prior to leaving, but they did not. Now, the apartment complex has advised that they are basically recouping $1,000 to install new carpet (as I saw the carpet which was steamcleaned with my steam cleaner) and the carpet was in good condition from what I saw. Also, they are charging them for the countertops. Both of my daughters are pregnant and were relying on the return of their security deposit to assist them financially. Also, I was always noticing ants in the apartment every time I came over. I thought it was from the rain, but it wasn't raining. I would not recommend going here if you are going to expect to receive a fair share of your Security Deposit b

The grounds are well maintained by an amazing staff whom are always attentive to all the residents needs and the office staff is welcoming and accommodating to all current as well as prospective residents. The property is more than adequate to call home for the price point, with all the amenities reminiscent of a luxury getaway especially the gorgeous pool and spa which seems to be very well maintained you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking to make the move anywhere, anytime soon I highly recommend Park Crest at the Lakes!
