Park at Northgate

As others have said, this place has really suffered from a lack of stable management. Will, head of maintenance, is stellar and goes above and beyond the call of duty, but can’t be expected to keep up with this large complex by himself. The pool has been completely unusable for more than half of the summer. Quite the bummer considering it’s the last week of the season. The new leasing manager recently sent our private detailed balance and leasing details to a previous tenant, and has made no effort to respond to the emails I’ve sent him in response, instead relying on his leasing agent to apologize on his behalf. 🙄 The grass across most of the property is extremely soggy/swampy and has been for an entire year, which has lead to multiple witnessed slips and falls by both my neighbors and I.

The manager Brandon as well Will and the maintenance team are top notch! They don’t treat you like just a person who’s renting, they care for you and your kiddos like family. There are issues around the area that seems to be finally be improving onsite thanks to management being so supportive and proactively asking their bosses for more support and help. Anything that isn’t truly ok at Park is absolutely NOT the fault of these amazing individuals! The area and neighborhood itself needs more support from police and public policy. I can’t say a lot about Thrive properties because it’s been a tug of war honestly. This said I finally see movement in the right direction. Rachel & Brandon, the property managers, were fabulous. They were friendly and informative without being pushy. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. ☺️ The apartment I toured was cute and clean, and had lots of closet space. I loved the real wood fireplace. The property is quite nice with a lovely outdoor setting. Trails to walk, and a pool with a nice grassy area for children to play.

The pool is the main selling point of the property, but they can’t seem to keep it any color but green for more than a few days most summers. Mail is constantly getting stolen from the mail room. The rent amounts people pay apartment to apartment varies pretty wildly.

I moved to this apartment due to the affordability of the units. The area has a lot of green space and is very dog friendly. However, during my move in date the unit was not yet ready. There were some issues with general cleanliness of the unit and appliances and some other issues. Our request for repairs took quite a while because the leasing agent working with us no longer works with Park at Northgate coincidentally. Once the community manager, Brandon, heard of this, he took care of things right away and worked with the maintenance supervisor, Will. They took care of all the issues within a day notice. If i could i would like to give both Will and Brandon 5 stars for their hard work, promptness and their reliability. They have a lot of things to take care of so I definitely understand
