This would be my first time buying a house on my own. I had tried to work with this company because they helped get my mom a new house. So I thought why not give it a shot. I was told to talk to the loan officer Pamela, she told me to send all these documents and when she emailed me the list that same day I got right to sending her what she’s asked for. I had some issues about certain documents also had a bunch of questions to ask. Not only did she not answer my phone calls, she wasn’t answering my text messages (mind you she said that I can text her or call if I had any questions) I would at least take 4 days to hear something back from her. 88 day closing. EIGHTY-EIGHT. As a lender, if you are that far behind or the product a buyer qualifies for is that far behind - expectations must be set to the buyer & buyer’s agent so that they can manage the listing’s expectations & make the proper decisions accordingly. Communication was sub-par, at best. As the listing agent, I only received emails two weeks before closing. At 2:15pm on the day of closing with closing scheduled for 3pm, the title company still did but have the package from the lender. The title company was gracious but had to rush to finalize their CD because the lender was so late to send it. Closing was delayed an hour, but after 88 days any delay or forcing another party to rush due to lack of execution is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
