Look at the reviews it shows you that these ladies which are the mangers don't know what their doing Don't move out here please second guess your choice 🤔 and the reason why I say that because things don't get fixed 😤 on time u get out evicted over the little things like late on rent one day or someone reporting u to the office snitching this neighbors so bored 😴🥱 in life they will watch your every move and snitch

I have lived at Palmetto Terrace in a 1 bedroom from 2014 to 2020. The apartments do not come with ac and the gas heat does not heat up the entire apartment. When things are broken the Landlord will take his time in getting it fix if it get fixed at all. I lived in apt 3025 H. There is/was a roof issue to where when it rains water will come through the roof and then through the ceiling. I have been dealing with that issue for years and the problem was never fixed before I moved out. Whoever moves in there next will have the same problem. These apartments and the Landlord is not worth the the money even if you do get housing assistance. I wouldn't give this place a star but in order to post this I had to give them a one star. I don't know about palmetto terrace apartments but I rather have a place to live then nothing at all

I moved back to Columbia in October of 2023. I went to apply for a unit here and then I received a letter in the mail saying I had been denied due to something on my credit report…no one seemed to be able to tell me what so whatever I let it go. Maybe about 4 months later they contacted ME to ask if I was still interested in a unit…AFTER they had already told me that I had been denied due to my credit report but I needed a place for myself and my kids ASAP so why not ? Went to do all of the necessary paperwork and ran around like a chicken with my head cut off to DSS and the CS office as instructed for other documents that were needed. These are horrible apartments they walk and in out without a notice they won't fix nothing. The owner of these apartments won't even do nothing also the President of southern management won't do nothing either he takes there side all the time. I wouldn't even give them one star horrible horrible place. Nobody follows HUD violations then when a new manager starts then thats when they start trying to inforce rules... like they have been following rules. I was with out heat the entire time it was cold also they fail you for inspections over the same stuff they won't fix.Something needs to be done and all tenents or residents it starts from standing up doing something to these people who invades our space and treat as if we are beneath them I have soon to move out and will not be looking back
