I have lived in a property managed by this company for several years and have experienced ongoing maintenance issues involving water intrusion and potential mold exposure. While maintenance requests are often marked as “completed” in the system, several issues, including leaks and moisture-related deterioration, have reoccurred or remained unresolved over time. I have also experienced inconsistent scheduling, last-minute or overnight communication, and missed appointment windows, which makes it difficult to prepare my household. These concerns have been documented through the maintenance portal and direct communication. I am sharing this review in hopes that it encourages more consistent follow-through and clearer communication, especially when health and habitability issues are involved

We have been renting with Pacific West Property for 2 years now. We have had a wonderful experience.Sherlyn Cook has always treated us with care and respect. Whenever we had a problem with the rental unit she made sure it was repaired in a timely matter. One time when our refrigerator went out she called us personally and asked if we wanted to borrow her personal mini-fridge because the repair man could not make it till the middle of next week. She took her time to send us a letter in the mail congratulating us on our expected baby. When we needed a bigger place for our growing family, that fit in our budget, she kept us in mind and let us know when she found something. Overall, she has gone way above what is required of her and we want to say thank you.

Sherilyn has been the best property manager we have ever had. We started out in Salem 4 years looking for a home. It was not easy to find a home to meet our families unique situation. We then needed to change to another home that better suited our situation because the owner is going to sell the home we were in. In a matter of 2 days we signed our lease and was in a home with Pacific West property management. We moved in 2 weeks later. We are so grateful for Sherilyn helping us with this big move.

Do not rent from these people! I called about a 4 bedroom, the lady I talked to said no one had applied, so I submitted my application online paid the $40 fee to run my credit. A day went by so I call her, she informs me I need to make 3 times the rent, I then tell her I’m on housing so that really don’t apply to me. She then proceeds to tell me the owner only wanted 6 people to live in the home, there’s 8 of us in my family. She tells me she ran the numbers I don’t make enough and that she still hasn’t run my credit so if I wanted her to proceed or refund me my money only $35 instead of the $40 I paid her. I told her I want my money back. She tells me I’d have my money sent in a check Friday, Monday the latest. It’s Tuesday and my money still ain’t in the mail. Don’t waste your time and m

Sent in an inquiry about a rental that was listed. Sherrylin Cook emailed me back promptly to tell me she didn't have any rentals that fit my price range. However, the rental is listed for far below my budget and we never had any conversation prior to this email about what my price range actually is and what I'm looking for in a rental. I found this to be quite rude. Do not recommend.
