Pacific Place Apartments

I would advise against renting here if you value sleep or quiet. The ceilings are extremely thin, to the point where you can hear every single footstep from the apartment above as well as any music or tv they might play. It feels like there is no sound insulation at all. The lack of noise control completely ruins the living experience and makes uninterrupted sleep impossible. I'm very disappointed I didn't realize this prior to moving in recently and will have to break the lease early.

Joseph and Jacob were so amazing during our move today. We lived in a different unit for a 12 month lease and were interested in looking to see if pacific place had any lofts available. To our pleasure, they did! Jacob moved so quick with the transfer and the amazing maintenance king joseph (who was stretched so thin) managed to help us through the most efficient move of all time. I cannot recommend this property based on my experience. The most serious issue is the fire alarm system. In the past month alone, the building wide alarms have gone off repeatedly, including numerous times in the middle of the night. The noise is extremely loud, waking the entire building and constantly disrupting sleep and work. Tenants are now forced to ignore these nuisance alarms, which is not only exhausting but a serious safety hazard, since people may no longer react in a real emergency. The alarms are clearly malfunctioning, not being properly serviced, and management has failed to address it. Maintenance and cleanliness are also ongoing frustrations. Staff is rude and not helpful, parking garage has leaking pipes that leave rusty stains on the car, appliances are old and rusty, terribly overpriced for what they offer, lots of apartments are airbnb’ed so that there is no accountability for the noise issues. Fire alarm on the ground floor can go unaddressed for hours. Leasing rate increases at least $200 every year. If you have options, don’t choose this one. *Update: It is impossible to reach the local office. All calls go to voice mail, and they do not call back when you leave a message. The alarm in the hallway has been going on for half a day on Sunday, and the emergency maintenance dispatch did absolutely nothing.

Luxury resort-style living including a sparkling pool and hot tub. All the amenities anyone could want in a pretty surrounding. The washer-dryer inside the apartments are my favorite! Double-paned windows make it a quiet complex in the metro area of L.A. The friendly management, especially Jose, Yammy, Toni and maintenance team make it feel like home. Added cameras and roving night security make it FIVE STAR.
