Oxford Apartments

If i were to give this apartment complex a MINUS i would. We applied in late November before Thanksgiving. We did not hear back from the leasing office with constant calling for an update. It took them almost a month to let us know if our application was approved or not. Once we got approved on December 20th they gave us a unit that had strong cat urine odor along with TONS of maintenance issues. This apartment was not ready it appeared to be rushed. We moved in on December 21st. We ran the washing machine it smelled like cat urine. It was unmanageable due to the fact we don't own any cats and we are allergic. We left the apartment. We reported to the office to cancel our lease due to the maintenance issues, cat urine along parking issues with another tenant that parked in our assigned spa

Living at The Oxford has been an exhausting and deeply frustrating experience. From the start, maintenance issues inside my apartment were either only partially fixed or marked as “completed” without actually resolving the problem. Maintenance tickets were repeatedly closed out while issues remained, which made it feel less like repairs were happening and more like problems were being buried on paper. The condition of the property as a whole is even worse. Despite paying an $84 monthly community area maintenance fee, many amenities and shared areas have been unusable or neglected for months. The hot tub has not worked since I moved in, one of the pools has been broken most of the time, speed bumps are crumbling, security and vehicle gates don’t work, and mailboxes are broken and unsecure

Just moved in and I wish I could back out now. Roaches everywhere, the unit wasn't cleaned with standing water in the dishwasher and gunk in the washing machine. The toilets weren't even touched, we thought they were stained but they were just really gross. Somewhat stained. Everything is rusted. They didn't even bother to repaint. No response from management and I've had to submit almost 20 service requests for fixes. One of which is a cracked bedroom door that doesn't lock and their fix was painting over it. Stay away from this place!!

11/13/2025 UPDATE** I’m bringing my rating down from a 2 to a 1 the last 6months have been hell. It’s been one thing after the other. Some of the issues: washer gave out, A/C gave out and was down for 9 days I had to walk into the office 2-3x per day to ensure it got taken care of and had to threaten withholding rent. We had noted on our move in sheet there was watermarks as if there were prior water damage to the unit guess what when monsoon season came our ceiling bubbled with water pockets and had I not been home when the leak happened would have ruined my couch!!! Ever since there has been a 4 foot crack in my living room since MID SEPTEMBER they’ve allegedly had the roofer vendor come out 3x to get a quote. Let’s see how long that takes. STAY AWAYYYYY!!! For Your own Health !! AND SAFTEY!! MOLD MOLD MOLD!!! And maintenance does NOTHING!!! You live on Mcdowell, this is what you get. Sums it up right there. Holes under the cabinets that roaches crawl out of ! A lot of them. When it rains, the roof leaks. Call the front office to bring maintenance out here? Nope. They don’t answer. You go face to face. They act oblivious. OxFord staff are a joke. Oxford maintenance? It’s like they DONT EXIST!!! When we moved in, they apparently took alllllll day to “Get it ready” for us. Nope. Screen door damaged and doesn’t even close. HOLES IN CABINETS! Chipped cabinet. The ceiling fan is half way off the ceiling. Same with the kitchen light. immediate creakyyyyy floors !! It’s clear that this place just covers up their damages and doesn’t
