Owner's Choice Property Management

We rented from Owners Choice and beforehand read alot of negative reviews, but with most of them being him entering the house unannounced(which he never did to us in almost three years) I never felt anything negative. We paid our rent on time and when there was a major issue he took care of it promptly. One of the best property management experiences we have had.

If I could give negative stars I would. I rented from them close to 8 years ago. I moved into one of their crappier duplex rentals as a single mom working and going to school. They evicted me after I paid to have a room painted like they wanted etc. After I was evicted they went to court and got a conviction to charge me for numerous upgrades to the property without me being notified or given an opportunity to go to court to plead my case. They blamed me for things that were not up to par before I moved in. These people are money hungry and prey on a vulnerable group of people. You would be better off renting a motel room than renting from this property management group.

I wanted to respond to other negative comments When I 1st moved in I used to get frustrated thinking they came too much after talking with neighbors I found out previous renters had trashed the place after 6 months or so they didn't come as much I think the reason for the visits to to make sure their rentals are kept up which any landlord would/should be concerned about I am now going on 3 years and they come a couple times a year to turn on and off the sprinklers and change the furnace filters and smoke alarm batteries which saves me money and protects my family I would absolutely recommend them! I hear horror stories about people living with broken things in the home and bugs there is no doubt in my mind if anything was broken they would come right away and get it fixed for us

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, AWFUL! They absolutely know and do not care that one of their renters are DRUG DEALERS, and have about 10-14 people living in the same two bedroom apartment (including young kids!) They came onto the property even though there was only minors home, not okay and came up with the excuse that "they don't have kids so they don't know better." Whenever repairs were being made on the property they would not knock on the door, they would step in and out of the property un-announced. They have on multiple occasions told us we were wrong, and hung up on us when calling them. They have also denied to replace a furnace filter claiming it doesn't have a filter even though we found one (EXTREMELY DIRTY) on the furnace. They failed to tell us about LEAD paint on the walls until after
