Stay away. Terrible experience. We were charged $295 cleaning fee for a 1 bedroom, outdated and old apartment we rented from them for 2 years.The apartment was returned to them very clean. We made sure of that. The apartment was very dated and floors were probably the original flooring that was installed when the apartment was built. We know this because it is linoleum and that is rarely used these days. We were also charged a $120 fee to change the locks even after we returned all keys given to us when we moved in. The dishwasher broke in the apartment and that took 3 months to get it replaced. We also requested a tub safety bar to be installed and that took forever. The landscaping maintenance crew broke a water valve while mowing the lawn, which interrupted the water service in my home from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. This deprived us of being able to meet our basic needs. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact the HOA, I called VS Rental on Friday at 4:01 PM to report the incident. They took control of the situation, and by 6:03 PM, a plumber was already at my house addressing the issue. By 6:30 PM, the water service was restored. I’ve been with the company for two years, and so far, my experience has been satisfactory.

I know renting in Miami can be nightmare but me nor my realtor have ever seen something like this. I submitted the offer for an apartment lower than asked price, however they demanded an application to be done before the offer is accepted so I paid $70 application (this should have been the red flag but I ignored it). Then the next day the VS agency (representing the owner) calls me and tell me that the offer is accepted and the application is approved. However the person who I spoke to didn't speak good english so I asked if they can just send me everything in the email with the next steps.
