Origin Apartments

I lived at Origin Apartments for about three years before moving out recently, and it truly felt like home. I started in a first-floor loft unit, where my cat could go out on a leash to greet neighbors and enjoy the sunset colors. Later, I moved to the 7th floor unit, which offered an incredible view of Mt. Rainier on sunny days. Both experiences left me with wonderful memories. Marge from the leasing office is the heart and soul of this community. She somehow remembers everyone’s name and always made me feel welcome and like live at home. The managers I interacted with were consistently kind and professional, and the maintenance team deserves special recognition for being responsive and keeping the building in great shape. I absolutely loved living at the Origin. The location is ideal: there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance yet the building itself is nicely hidden away from Lake City Way. Management is really friendly, special shoutout to Marge, Mary Anne, and David. The shared spaces (24/7 gym, lounge, rooftop) are tidy and welcoming. I chose the Origin because of the dog area on the 2nd floor, so that I could take my dog out without leaving the building. The only downside is how narrow the parking spots are in the garage, but with enough practice, I was able to back in to my spot like a pro. My favorite part about living at the Origin was the residents. I met so many lovely humans in the building, including my now partner! I definitely wasn’t expecting to find love when I moved

My boyfriend and I are one of the first 6 resident moved in Origin before the were done with the building. Since we moved in, we really enjoyed living here. The place is always clean and most of People in the building are positive and Pleasant To be around. Management is awesome Always taking care of business. We love our home Origin 🏡 ❤

Marge is the best and makes Origin apartments a rare find! I’ve lived in quite a few apartments in the last 15 years and never felt as taken cared of as I did at Origin apartments. Marge goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and is taken care of. She even remembers everyone’s names and greets them when she’s sees them. It’s really hard to find an apartment that makes you feel safe and truly cared for, and that is very important these days. Highly recommend living here!

Definitely don't live here. I'd give it zero stars if I could. The management is TERRIBLE. Marge is nice & helpful, but she cant do too much, even though she tries & cares. Unfortunately the latest of a long list of managers has been the worst. Her name is on like literally nothing. Notices say origin management, never her name (Mary Anne). Maintenance sucks too. Anytime they've fixed anything they leave a mess, it's not hard to clean up after yourself. Has left small bits of plastic everywhere, drywall crumble everywhere, etc. The building is just run down & dirty, they only do the minimum. Not going to live here again after being treated like garbage by the manager. It's sad because this building could be so much better if management cared about the building & its residents.
