Orchard Glen Apartments

I’ve been living at Orchard Glen for some time now. While there are many positives to this community, the ongoing security failure regarding our mail has become a dealbreaker. Pros: Friendly Staff: The leasing office team is professional, polite, and easy to talk to. Efficient Maintenance: The maintenance crew is excellent. They respond quickly to requests and fix things right the first time. Cons (Critical Security Breach): The mail theft situation here is out of control. I have personally experienced 4 separate incidents of mail theft in just 6 weeks, including credit cards and highly sensitive tax documents (W-2). Even when providing a narrow 4-hour window for when the theft occurred, management’s response has been underwhelming, essentially stating they are powerless because USPS

Been a neighbor here for just about a year, I must say the environment here is lovely. From the office staffs kindness and willingness to help solve an issue, to the maintenance team getting things time in a timely manner, it’s a great staff to rely on. I also enjoy the nearby park right over the pedestrian bridge, which neighbors have access to, it’s a lovely place to take the dog, have a picnic, or even take children as there’s a playground. There’s also TONS of open guest parking, that’s helpful as we enjoy hosting friends over. Overall great community, and I can’t recommend it enough!

After having lived in 5 different apartments in the Bay Area in the past decade, this apartment is possibly one of the best in the area. Pros: Peaceful and beautiful courtyards with old growth trees. So beautiful to just walk around. Very well maintained with staff super responsive to maintenance requests Plenty of parking for guests Santa Clara power so no price gouging from PG&E Includes all amenities like swimming pool, gym, community room etc Close to Santana Row and Valley Fair mall Dog park is connected to the apartment via a closed walkway EV Chargers Cons: No elevators and apartments have a minimum of one flight of stairs A little expensive

Horrifying Experience I just moved out from Orchard Glen after living there for 8 months and it’s the worst apartment I’ve ever lived at. Ants problem: Early last fall, ants started swarming out from my bathroom sink hole. Maintenance team was not able to solve my problem. I was told that other residents in my building were also having ants problem - I live in building 1. I was creeped out by having ants in my bathroom and took the matter to the leasing office several times. People there were unhelpful and unsympathetic. One staff member gave me lectures about how this is not their responsibility and I should just live with it. At one point, he told me outright, “They are ants. SO MUCH PARKING in addition to assigned parking. Great service and response to maintenance requests. The grounds are well maintained and leasing office is open all throughout the week. We have a dog that loves to walk around with SO much grass to cater to our fur babies. Also private communal access to the pedestrian bridge to walk across to the park! Definitely want to give a shoutout to Bryan and the rest of the maintenance team. Have enjoyed living here so far.
