On Baldwin Pond

Interesting place. I'm not sure I recommend moving here though unless you're trying to get your finances in order, it's a little aged. Pros: - Joe is a nice guy. Responsive, keeps you informed, and the kind of guy you can text if things are wrong. The maintenance guy is nice too. - It's in a good area. You can walk to Taco Bell, Fazolis, Arby's, Dunkin', etc. - The place handled the hurricane well, no complications during it. Even the power stayed on, and there is a mobile tower near the property so you have great service. - Other residents are quiet and kind - Rent is slightly below market rate for the area. - AC unit is strong - Security deposit was returned in full Cons: - The building isn't exactly the safest. This is truly the best place I’ve ever lived. It’s safe, quiet, and impeccably clean, but also genuinely beautiful and serene. The residents are friendly and kind; people smile and say hello here. The community is surrounded by lush greenery and an abundance of wildlife, including fish, turtles, hawks, blue jays, cardinals, crows, ibis, cranes, common moorhens, and of course, ducks! Many of the condos overlook the lake, and watching the sunrise over the water is one of the most breathtaking sights I’ve ever experienced. The units themselves are filled with natural light thanks to the large windows, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Two years ago, I was moving back to Orlando and debating which area I wanted to be in/around. The first place I looked into was On Baldwin Pond and I called the number and Joe answered, after that phone call - something told me that would be the place by how kind and genuine Joe seemed, but to be sure, I checked a few other places and still had this place in the back of my mind. I'm so glad I made that choice because living here was the best case scenario in location and landlord. I loved being right next to Baldwin Park, riding my bike on the greenway next to our apartment, the pool being on the pond, seeing rocket launches from the pond, being 10 minutes to downtown...we enjoyed it so much we stayed another year. I've lived here for about 8 months and have really enjoyed it. The location was my main motivator for moving here but I couldn't be happier with the management which is why I'm writing this review. This is the first place I've lived at in Orlando that actually takes care of the tenants. I've had multiple maintenance needs while living here as one does in an apartment and when I bring them up it's never been more than a day that they get to work fixing it. Joe, the landlord, contacted me about a plumbing issue recently while I was out of town that was effecting my building but had concentrated to my unit. He worked non stop to fix the issue and and ended up deep cleaning before finishing up. It looked cleaner than when I moved in! My previous residence would've made me hire my own maintenan

First year of living here has been great. Joe and Pat are great at managing the properties and are easy to get a hold of. The property is right next to Cady Way Trail and not too far from downtown. Walls are concrete so you can’t hear anything and people in the community are nice in general. Would recommend this place to anyone because of how stress free it is to live here.
