I signed the original lease with this company and then I let my mom take over since I live out of town. My mom passes away and now all of sudden they don't know me or my mom. Now they can’t find the original lease. Also they won’t release the funds to me after me showing them I’m the executor to my mom’s estate. Their claim is that my name is not on the deed for the house. Well for sixteen years, I was never asked about whose name was in the deed. It didn’t stop them from collecting management fees. Not once was my mom asked about her name being on the deed. It never stopped them from working for us. In my opinion they are crooks. This is the worst property management company in the area. Do not use this company.!

Thanking God I didn’t rent and by looking at all the reviews sooo glad I didn’t. I met Robin at 2 of the Condo my first impression upon meeting her she was rude and had an extremely raspy voice as I step on the elevator to go up to look in the Condo coach roaches in the elevator greeted me after just seeing that it was already a NO for me. I still proceeded to go the the property I was interested in as I entered I saw dead coach roaches almost in every room..Robin then asked me if I was from the south and proceeded to tell me this was normal and I should definitely be use to it..needless to say I no longer wanted to rent ANY property from them.

This is the worst company to use! Please beware. We didn’t have any problems with our condo, so we used them again. Worst decision EVER! Moved into the home and these were the conditions. We had to clean the home and get it ready, they didn’t. They then charged us almost $600 to clean the property. On top of that they charged us for lemons that fell off the tree that were on the ground. They used our deposit to prepare a home for the market to be sold. They are so wrong! They have treated us and our other family members wrong. I’m not sure what’s going on over there but they don’t care about their tenants only money!!!! God don’t like ugly, and I know we will be vindicated in the end. This is pure evil! They have taken my sister in law deposit, they charged her for rent after her moving ou

So far, not a fan of this company. Multiple repairs that we were told would be done when we moved in have been completely ignored. This includes not repairing our garage door as promised (and as requested multiple times over the last six months) to the point where we could not put our car in the garage in the face of an impending hurricane. We have tried many times to request basic repairs (such as having door knobs replaced which are literally falling off the doors). At best, we are told the repairs will be handled (they haven't been); at worst, our calls and requests to be contacted have been completely ignored.

We have had several properties listed with Old South for over 10 years. We have always had great response, they vetted our tenants very well and let us know of any needed repairs and worked diligently to get the repairs done in a timely manner. Kerri, Denise and Vernie are great at their job!
