Ocean Drive, Coney Island

Living here is a dream come true. Seeing the ocean every day, sunsets, sunrises; it's a daily reminder of God's goodness. The people in the building are very friendly, they make you feel like home. Tatyana, Kim and Patty always have a smile and are ready to help. What a blessing. Summers are filled with warmth and beach, winters with pretty white scenery when it snows. It's a daily get a way from the busy city. Amenities are clean and new. It's a gem!

Visited a friend who rents at Ocean Drive (the big luxury towers right on the boardwalk in Coney Island)—what a spot! This is basically NYC's only true oceanfront apartment building, with killer direct views of the Atlantic from most units, plus sights of the amusement park, Verrazzano Bridge, and Manhattan skyline on clear days. The building itself feels resort-like: modern finishes, big windows/terraces in many apartments, full concierge, gym, rooftop terrace, kids' playroom, putting green, BBQ areas—it's like living in a high-end vacation spot year-round.

Delivery drivers be AWARE: VERY VERY Rude security guard(white man in his thirties or forties with yellowish hair and beard). The building outside literally says to go to the service entrance and ring it for deliveries. I rang it a few times, and they didn't open it. And when he finally opened and I entered the building, he started yelling at me, acting like I'm in the wrong. I told him the sign outside says that deliveries and anything else are to enter via the service entry, not the main entry right outside, but apparently I don't know how to read, and he was belittling me. Even after I left, they kept talking poorly about me to their other colleagues. We absolutely love living at Ocean Drive. My wife says it’s like coming home to a cruise ship. The building is run well. If there are any problems, they are quickly resolved. The doormen are top notch and will bend over backward for you. Management is quick to improve any issues. The realtors are great. We had Christine who is amazing. We love seeing her and have made friends with her and the others as well. She showed me places multiple times until I got the place we wanted. They throw building events (which usually means free and tasty food) on the deck overlooking the ocean or in the rec room. The prime location, in close proximity to both the beach and the amusement park, has added immense value to my life. The unforgettable sunset views, which grace us with their beauty in every season, are simply breathtaking.
