Oasis by Main Street Homes

Beware of the Oasis community, everything that glitters is surely not gold. When you purchase a townhome where HOA is suppose to take care of the lawn care you’d think the lawn would actually be maintained properly. Well not here, that’s not the case at all, and landscapers are not even on a consistent schedule. Flooding, patchy sod, muddy areas, sod not laid properly, the list goes on and on. Flooding is a huge issue within the community, and though this is the beginning stage it frightens me the amount of standing water that sits for days in the grass, especially in the homes that are in the front of the community. They have the worst grass, even the grass by the model home is terrible. To make matters worse, some of the townhome driveways, have been infested by maggots in so many homes

We have recently purchased in the Oasis Townhome community and though the homes are beautiful but also have their flaws the community has the same. The community is still developing but concern is raised when there are people trespassing almost daily on dirt bikes or pickup trucks and using the construction site as a race track. This is a continuous thing, even after the site managers have put up janky wired cameras and store brought “No Trespassing” paperback signs. Might I add, there are also no street lights, so at night it is almost pitch black which is highly dangerous, especially with people trespassing. I love Main Street homes. Oasis is the neighborhood to be in if you are searching in the Midlothian area. Honest and trustworthy builder.
