Oakwood Flats

The apartment itself is very great, but the kids that live there really need a apartment curfew, because they love to trash the place and some kid once went through our packages and stole them, but we just ordered a new package.

I have lived here since the year these apartments open and it has changed drastically for the worst and seems to continue this route. The office management is lazy and worthless at times. They close the for a full day making it unavailable to tenants and expect you to leave voicemails. They are continuous having inspections sometimes with short notice. They send out unnecessary emails and texts constantly. They are extremely unprofessional and once my lease is up I’m getting the hell out of here. Elmington properties you are continuously over the years changing management it is clear it’s time to make another change. Living here is a headache. Look at the reviews. A lot of the kids are thief’s stealing Amazon packages from apartments knowingly. I have my Amazon items sent to an Amazon lock

I’ve stayed here for 3 years. I did LOVE my apartment it was beautiful but management changed every 4 to 6 months. maintenance don’t know what they’re doing. They often look on YouTube for answers. Our car got broken into twice as well as others through out the year. Some of the kids run up and down breezeways and are very loud. Had to get a ring camera because packages were coming up missing. The only this good about these apartment are the inside

I’ve been living in Oakwood Flats since they were first built back in 2020. The leasing office staff changes regularly. The maintenance team hasn’t been good in over 2 years now. If you’ve ever lived here you know Oakwood Flats has high ceilings.. they used to change my bulbs with no issue. Now all of a sudden apparently I’m supposed to buy a ladder just in case they blow out again. They don’t change light bulbs anymore for whatever reason. They don’t handle your service requests in a timely manner BUT you’re expected to pay rent etc on time. I’ll probably not be returning after my newest lease is up. The complex used to be so nice.

My kids and I are disabled. Which are autistic. Got locked out my house today. I knocked on the office door. A black lady opened the door. Said their closed. Office hours are 9-4. And said call a locksmith. And that it's courtesy. To unlock a tenants apartment door. I'm so disappointed and disgusted. Management is so unprofessional . They could have cared less anything would 've happen to us.I've never lived at apartment. That treats the tenants like they do. We were in the sun. Walking around the apartments from 4:00pm until 7:19pm. My children missed a dose of their medicine .
