Oaks of Villa Maria

I've lived here about six months and I love it. Great location, quiet, and good price. Manager and maintenance are quick to respond and fix things. The apartments themselves are older but they have unique and more spacious layouts than new places. Garage included. No complaints.

Unique place to live in college station/Bryan that few know about. Two story floor plans and lofts, wood fireplaces, sound insulated walls, w/d connections, well maintained, individual garages were a major selling point for me. Older/professional community, very quiet. Tall trees surrounding and throughout the complex add privacy, backs a field used by a&m for horticulture. Great on site manager, great rates. Only downsides are it's older and no on site gym.

The place is a joke. When appliances break they don’t get fixed. When the over head fluorescent lights go out they don’t care. My microwave door I had it taped up cause it was broken and then it just quit working. When I flushed the upstairs toilet brown water fell on my stove. My cat killed a small snake in the living room. The place is just waiting to go up in flames like the 9 apts. scary place. When I moved out I had black mold starting to show in the walls and air vents. Sorry place to live

I was speaking with a young lady named Gina. I was having trouble with The property management company above me whose property is leaking into mine and she is trying to help me resolve it because the Other property management company has been difficult. My problem hasn’t been solved, but she was kind understanding and called me back like she said she would

The swimming pool and laundry facilities are closed indefinitely. HOA fees almost $300 a month for a two bedroom and almost $200 for a one bedroom. What exactly is the HOA spending this money on other than mgmt fees. The exterior of these units are in pretty poor shape.
