Nova House Apartments

R1: Worst place. No response for maintenance. Disappointed with Sandalwood Management. Pathetic. Avoid!! =>Response to owner: I’ve requested through the property portal, sent multiple emails, and made phone calls, but I still don’t understand why the Sandalwood team hasn’t addressed the issue. Despite several requests, pest control has not been conducted in the past 8-10 months. You can ask them and see if they reply!!

Avoid this place at all cost. Lived here for about a year and it is clear management does everything they can to avoid spending money to fix issues. There was a leak in apartment near ours, water came into our apartment from theirs and got under our flooring. When flooring started to come undone, we request four different times to have this fixed. Management took months to set a time and by then we were one month out from moving away. Of all washer drier units for tenant use, only one of each work. The drier will take your coins sometimes as well. Our heater went out as the weather got cold and the best we were given was two small space heating units. Management never set a time for maintenance to fix our heater, and it stayed out of service for our final two months on the lease. Prett

Nova House is being managed by Gold Asset Management and they are TERRIBLE and will avoid their responsibilities to tenants. I moved out at the end of June and still has not received my deposit from them. There is no itemized deductions, no explanation, just silence. Their phone number listed on the website also does not work. They took a very long time to complete maintenance request, including fixing washers and dryers. At multiple points in time we only had one washer and dryer for two building for 2-3 months. They did not request to my request for mold problems. Avoid this place at all cost.

Quite cheap for the location. For some people, that's all that matters. And most apartments are newly renovated, which is nice. I lived there, and I can second these complaints I see from other reviewers: only one working washer for 2 buildings, non-negligible cockroach issues, inept management that can take weeks to respond, or even ignore communications altogether. (Management is located North of the Domain; no on-site management.) I have not received any communication about my security deposit, and I moved out months ago. Also, the building is old with awful insulation, and you'll hear your neighbors every day.

Scheduled a tour this morning with multiple email confirmation, and no one showed up. Called multiple times, the management never picked up the phone. The management team called back 1.5 hours later and is extremely rude and doesn't care at all. Avoid this place.
