Northwest gardens II

The inside of the apartments are very nice and spacious but the way they keep the stairs and halls should be against the law. Extremely filthy! Kids run around spilling food and drinks in the hall. Dogs and humans pee and poop all in the hall, on the stairs, and in the sidewalks and walkways and it takes weeks for them to clean it up. Homeless persons and drug addicts sometimes sleep in the stairs and in the hallways even with their so called security walking around. And God forbid that anything in your apartment breaks or gives out. It took them 4 months to get around to fixing my dishwasher.

There is no right way to know if they have any apartments available at the moment. When you visit their office you see already their relatives or friends signing and doing some paperwork. So ridiculously, The manager told me to call him next morning, but when I call him he even didn't want to talk. The only thing he said was "nothing available right now,nothing". Why he had to tell me to call him back if he had nothing available at the first place.

Scott Strawbridge and the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale have done a great thing by establishing these beautiful workforce and senior housing units. They are subsidized homes and the philosophy of the authority is to give people a hand up and not a hand out. They work with their residents to improve their lives and help them move to their own places. This is a great concept.

Becareful over here at night. Actually came to do a delivery here and someone took a dookie in the hallway and was pretty dark. I wasn’t sure I wasn’t going to make it back to my car

I moved here four years ago. Compared to where I lived before, this is a palace. The building is quite and my neighbors are all nice people.
