I would’ve given 0 stars if I could. I chose this apartment because it was closer to Zachery and there was an A&M bus stop here. About 3 months in they do an apartment check to see if the apartment is up to code and that the residents are following all rules. My apartment had a water heater issue as it was old and needed replacement. So in lieu of the maintenance they commandeered my apartment and room during exam times for an entire day, and left a mess all over my bathroom and bedroom. I was happy that it was atleast over but to my surprise i started getting cloudy stinky water in my bathroom and kitchen to where I was not able to cook food, brush my teeth, shower, etc (basic human needs), and their maintenance team came to fix it 9 days after the initial work order request being sent.
This place is a scam! I lived at this place for one year, and I regret it. I was charged for damages I hadn’t made, and I walked through hallways that constantly smelled like trash. The elevator next to my apartment wouldn’t be working half the time and over the summer I’d constantly be taking the stairs. Also, in the middle of the year, they changed parking rules and implemented reserved parking spots for an additional monthly price. More than half the time, I wouldn’t be able to find parking, especially because of the first through third floors being reserved for retail parking. Even though, half the retail shops are shut down. I reached out to Northpoint in person and then on email multiple times regarding my damage charges that I hadn’t made. They, then, told me that they’d reach out t
NPC is a mega-complex experiencing maintenance neglect. My daughter in in her 3rd year at NP. She renewed because of proximity to friends and Zachary. Elevator doesn't work. Hallways are filthy. Gym is closed. Mold on walls upon moving in. Northpoint Crossing DOES NOT clean the apartment common space between tenants!! If one tenant stays, the apartment common space does not get cleaned! Each apartment could go YEARS without a make-ready cleaning! They dumped a blanket list of fees upon moving out of the other apartment. She didn't early renew, so she had to change apartments. ZERO security. The handy Bluetooth locks are GONE. No more opening gates and doors with your phone. Appliances are worn out. Roommates are not all A&M students. Guest parking is a looooong drive to th
I moved out last semester and anytime someone brings up Northpoint i still get the chills. First off management tried to scam me into paying a $3500 security deposit… no one else I knew living there had this happen to them. It took almost two months to resolve this issue and was the worst getting into contact with the workers. They did end up owning up to their mistake and “didn’t know how that happened…” And when they refunded, it was refunded as credit towards paying off rent instead of back to the original payment method. The management team will approach you with attitude and would roll their eyes at me anytime i wanted to address anything wrong. Within first month of living there our apartment flooded for two weeks on and off maintenance were slow and the water that flooded ended up cr
As the guarantor for my son’s lease at Northpoint Crossing, I am extremely dissatisfied with how move-out charges were handled. My son was falsely charged for a wall stain and other damages he did not cause, even after providing clear photo evidence showing the original condition of the unit. Despite this proof, the charges were still sent to a collection agency, and I received letters demanding payment for alleged “damages” my son did not do. This was not an isolated incident—similar false charges were applied to his roommates, who did not have adequate photo documentation to dispute them. This reflects a deeply unfair and irresponsible move-out process. I do not recommend living here under any circumstances. Please stay away and save your money because they will scam you.
