Extremely frustrated with Northpoint. We have lived here going on 3 years and had no issues up until now. We pay $1500 a month for rent and our grass still has not been mowed this year-it’s May 13th. The grass is above my knees. We have a puppy needing surgery on her leg and this is making her injury even worse as she’s leaping around while trying to go potty. I’ve called the office multiple times, have been referred to the property manager who said “Our hands are tied with what we are allowed to do without the owners consent.” and pushed us off by saying it would be handled within the next week. I’ve tried being understanding and giving them the opportunity to make this right but I’ve lost my patience. This is no way to treat loyal tenants. This is simply unacceptable with how much we pay

We have been renting through this company unfortunately for about 3 years. As long as we do not have to communicate everything is fine. But the second there is an issue with the property, it’s a constant battle to get the issue resolved. It honestly wouldn’t be so bad if they would just communicate with you. But getting the property managers to respond and correct the issues in a timely manner is ridiculous. I’m now going on week 3 of an issue, I’ve already missed a half a days work because of miscommunication and still it hasn’t been resolved. And the other part of my issue hasn’t even been acknowledged. This company might be ok if we could get some better communication and property managers who care. Just imagine if you were living in these places with your kids and family? How would you

Northpoint manages our rental properties for us and has so for years. They have done a great job. I like that they have one PM to deal with so it isn't confusing on who is going to be sending me an email or who to write to, there is singular accountability which is nice and they have a team behind them to work with. Recently we have the pleasure of working with Stephanie Gandre after the previous PM retired and she has been great. She is an excellent communicator. She knows how to work things to defuse things. She thinks through plans of action and gets them executed. Pleasantly surprised and look forward to the future.

If I could give less, I would. This company has ran me in circles on the phone and via email. I had signed a lease agreement and paid a security deposit and then they rejected my lease after. My deposit has still not been refunded after 2 weeks and I cannot get ahold of anyone or able to leave a voicemail. They responded with it’ll be returned in 3-5 days, then it was 5-7, and now they are saying tomorrow. The information theyve given is inconsistent and all seems to SKETCHY. Starting to think THEYRE SCAMMING. The contact numbers are never people and the emails I receive in return are assumed to be automated. Just save yourself and don’t sign on with this property.
