NorthPark Residences Apartments

I lived here for three years (August 2021 - June 2024) and 95% of my experience was positive. Work Orders were completed in a timely manner, the staff was friendly and seemed to care. In late 2023/early 2024 my neighbor went literally off the wall and became a danger to himself and the staff did everything they could to help the other residents and keep everyone safe. The move out process was pretty easy and I got my full deposit back. The amenities like the pool, washer dryer hookups, and vaulted ceilings are great and the location isn’t bad.

BLACK MOLD IN BUILDING 19!! I’ve lived here for almost 2 years, since the very first night, there has been water damage. The maintenance man forgot to plug in the hose on my washer, so my apartment was flooded on the first night. In the bathroom, every time my upstairs neighbor took a bath or shower, it poured through the ceiling into my shower. It also poured from light fixtures (attached photos!) and flooded into my living room, causing water stains all throughout my apartment. They attempted to paint over the stains instead of fixing the issue, so the stains seeped through the new paint. This went on for a year after many failed attempts to fix the ceiling, black mold started growing and it spread like wild fire. Every 24 hours it spread by 5 feet. I lived at Northpark for nearly 10 years. I would have probably stayed 10 more years if the larger unit had a layout with the bedrooms closer together. My daughter has special needs so my room needs to be close to hers. I liked the layout of the smaller 2 bedroom floor plan and it worked well for my daughter and I for a long time. The rate is great for being so close to food, shopping and entertainment. It got off to a rocky start with some of the former managers and maintenance staff. Ever since Brendan took over it has REALLY turned around! Before he became manager, you didn't really see a lot of updates to the complex and the parking lot was a train wreck. When I moved here it was during a tragedy, Brendon, Sam and Jay have not only became my friends but have become my family. They listened to me, laughed with me, shed tears with me, they have always had integrity, been honest and so helpful whenever I needed anything. They are amazing individuals, the maintenance staff as well. They give me hope that there are actually heartfelt caring people left in the world. They are extremely professional and I would be honored to have them work for me as should you. I can tell you this, should they ever leave, I would most definitely follow.
