North Hills Village Apartments

Today I woke up to the 5th flooding in my apartment. 5:45 AM and none of the after-hours "Emergency" numbers posted by management are valid. There is complete disregard for tenants. Apartments are not maintained at all. Getting anything repaired needs something close to divine intervention. Cockroaches galore! if you like those delightful creatures, this is your place. Anza Management is neglectful and its on-site manager is ill prepared to deal with tenants. Phone calls are not returned and when you are finally able to reach someone, you receive despicable, rude treatment.

As far as bugs are concerned, we had a slight roach problem in our first month here and a very small ant problem where we would see a few and then they would be gone for weeks at a time. Through simply keeping my apartment clean, food sealed in zip-locks, and weekly poison jell applications to my cupboards (which the apartments provide free of charge) I haven't seen a single pest in months. The complex comes with a gym, pool, and parking, and would have received a much higher rating from me except for the fact that it is quite an annoyance dealing with management when something breaks. I'm not sure the new manager has any formal system of recording maintenance issues and assigning work orders to the maintenance crew who spend most of their day sweeping the parking lot. If I could give them a zero I really would , why because their new management is rude and unprofessional. Waste of money and very unorganized system. Parking spots always have an issue and they are very small. They don't maintain there apartments infested with roaches inside your apartment and outside as well. They don't care for their tenants . Think twice about living here . Overpriced for the area and be careful their security system is always having problems when your cars are getting broken into while the gates don't work . Pool is filthy about 40% of the time. I paid a deposit for a 1 bedroom 1 bath . When I walked into the apartment smelled like a smoke house they offered me a larger apartment same price but when move in day came the promises they made about things they would fix we

The showers. They need to get better boilers. Shower goes from hot to cold and cold to hot. Living there for 6 years and I’ve had to shower with such a speed because the water just won’t stay hot or cold. Yes a lot of roaches too.

The worst apartment building ever. The people who run this building are SLUM LORDS!! DO NOT ENTER THE PREMISE. Nothing ever gets fixed, you will be very upset if you moved here. Since day 1, I have asked for many things to be fixed. My lease is almost up and nothing has been fixed. These people do not care about there tenants. There in it for the money. You see there office being remodeled, but they will not think twice to come and fix your apartment. This place needs to be tore down and remodeled all over again.
