When I lived here with my roommate, we had this issue of maggots appearing under our window, and the previous landlord Joseph blamed us for it, even though we never left out any trash. Joseph also had a terrible habit of never actually renewing our leases with us. Now that Joseph has transferred it over to a new landlord, the new guy won't even give me my deposit back, despite leaving our place cleaned and tidy.
