Beware! If you are planning to buy a Berks Homes. While the quality is good, and that i have been mostly happy that way, my Lawn was not put in until August and I closed in March. I lived with mud, dirt/dust and a mess for those 5 months. They push, push, push for you to close with so much unfinished. Do not know how they even got the Certificate of Occupancy … I had no driveway or sidewalk for well over a month. They do NOT stand behind you in everything, especially the lawn. Hydro seed the day before the hurricane - 50% of seed washed out and they said “tough - your problem (paraphrased)” … And the warranty department makes you feel as though you are a pest. I'm posting the comments I made in the survey they've sent me repeatedly because I don't trust them to post negative reviews. Shoddy work and when they come to "fix" things, they do a half-baked job. I've never seen such an awful shower tile job in my life where the grout is a mess and the water pools terribly. When they sent someone to fix the pan and the cracked tiles, he said it would take one day and he couldn't do all the work because he couldn't take the shower door off. Clearly, the guy had absolutely no idea what he was doing. This can be said for many of the trades who came in to do repairs, but that's probably because so many of them were teenage Amish workers.
