Newport Wichita Apartments

I do not recommended this apartment complex. The AMOUNT of cleaning/scrubbing I've had to do. Everything that can rust is rusted. Everything that can be broken is broken.The appliances are broken, stained, rusting, are not clean upon move in (also evident the appliances have had fires in them). Trash was left from the previous tenants in my unit, as well as child locks on the cabinets. All but 2 of the 7 windows in my unit are broken and filled with moisture. There is black mold around the windows. Nothing ever gets fixed. I've put in work orders for the following: tile grout work, dishwasher broken, burnt out bulb on move in, the broken windows, roof leaking/water damage, clogged dryer vent. The only thing that's been fixed is the lightbulb. That's it. Maintenance Workers have entered my

let’s start with the biggest issue the maintenance people walk in whenever we get a call if we are lucky 20 minutes before they enter which is illegal by the way. my roommate is the only one that gets a call even though we are both on the lease and i have had to tell the office multiple times to call me as well. the office has mistaken my roommate as my girlfriend even though when we first signed we made sure to ask about her boyfriend being able to park and stuff. then there’s the issue of them not maintaining the property during the summer there are swarms of spiders along the hallway walls and it takes forever for them to salt the stairs in the winter. all in all not very luxurious.

I can't thank the crew here enough! As a dog owner navigating this winter storm can be tricky...this crew cleared the sidewalks, walking path around the lake and even cleared extra areas! This made walking my doggo so much easier! It means more than they even know! Thank you team Newport! You all are great!

We lived here for 14 months and it was a very positive experience. We only moved because we purchased a home. Adriana went out of her way to help gather the necessary information for us to be accepted as tenants. Case management was very familiar, and reasonable, regarding the service pets that belong to my children. The apartments are very spacious and are laid out well. We did enjoy using the fireplace over the winter. There was occasionally noise, but that's to be expected in apartment living. The grounds, including the lake, were always very well kept. Air conditioning issues and two different leaks from upstairs tenants were responded to quickly and competently. When it came time to move out, the procedure and requirements were clearly explained. Husband and I moved in a year ago. We are seniors and they got things done right away! We had handrails put in our showers, a handicap sign put in our parking lots. Recently we requested a handrail down some steps - it’s already in! They have ice cream parties on Friday. Very nice place to live - the apartments are spacious. The each have some storage. We don’t have to rent extra storage! Also, the grounds stay clean.. Even around the trash bins. Everything is clean and stays that way. We are very proud to show off where we live! It’s also private (a gated community). Very proud to say we live here!
