DO NOT LIVE HERE. This is by far the worst apartment complex I’ve ever experienced. First off, the place is INFESTED with massive cockroaches and rats (not mice) Trash is constantly overflowing, creating an even bigger pest problem. It is routine to walk outside to your car or for a walk and see large rats run across the dumpster and run by your feet and car. To make matters worse, the water gets randomly turned off for days or even weeks at a time, leaving residents without such a BASIC necessity!!! The management here is unbelievably rude and completely unhelpful. Maintenance requests are ignored for weeks on end. YOU CANNOT reach anyone in the office by phone or text during their posted business hours for days, sometimes weeks!!!! As I write this, there is still a gaping hole in my
Please take a moment to listen to my full story, and you will understand what Newport Village really means. It has now been 16 days since the flooding started in my apartment. Management only brought a machine to dry the carpet, left it running, and never returned. The machine has been running nonstop for over two weeks, causing serious breathing issues for us and a very high electric bill. The carpet has still not been replaced, and the situation remains exactly the same since day one. The maintenance team is completely unprofessional. None of them speak English, and one of them came in, dropped the machine, and used my household trash can and my own cleaning cloths to squeeze out and drain water. This was shocking and showed zero professionalism. When the flood happened, my mother was
I had the most amazing experience with Ms. Denise; from start to finish it couldn’t have been more perfect. She made this experience for my daughter and I such a positive experience. She prepared me for the day of move in so that I would have all my forms and wouldn’t be scrambling in the end. Ms. Denise took the time to go through every single paper and throughly explain everything and any question I had she answered. It couldn’t have been any better. Ms. Denise went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.
Dear Management, (Antoine Agnew, the front desk employee didn't allow to speak with his supervisor/manager so I writing here hopping this matter will reach you) I am writing to formally complain about an UNRESOLVED MAINTENANCE ISSUE in my apartment that has now been ongoing for nearly three weeks. I have already submitted three maintenance requests regarding a mice infestation in my kitchen. Despite these requests, the problem has not been resolved. During this time, I have personally caught multiple mice using traps and glue traps that I had to purchase myself. The mice appear to be coming from behind the dishwasher in my kitchen. When the pest control technician visited, he informed me that he could not move the dishwasher himself and that a maintenance technician would need to move it
If you’re reading the reviews and you are on the fence, trust me, just don’t do it. Let me start by saying I’ve lived in NOVA for over 8 years and I have lots of experience with lower priced apartments in the area. Trust me, you can find better. I knew someone that lived in these apartments a few years ago and I knew the inside was nice and the location was great for the price and I was in a pinch so I decided to take my chances. Here’s my honest review of the issues I’ve had: 1. Parking: there’s only 1 vehicle allowed per lease holder. This ended up being a major issue for me personally bc I need to add another vehicle to my lease and I cannot. I was willing to pay to have an extra car on my lease and was told no. Let’s talk the parking fees….a regular spot and reserved spot right nex
