Newport Bay Terrace

Called the property manager and attempted to inquire about the one bedroom units that are showing as available on their own website and other phone apps such as apartments.com. When introducing myself and explaining what I was looking for, Manager Jan (older lady who hung up on me the first time after pretending she couldn’t hear me) instantly denied that zero apartment units were available and that she didn’t know why any listings were showing up online. After I explained the variety of listings that I came across and that I was interested in touring a unit, she immediately used the excuse that there are holding deposits already paid for by other prospective tenants and that there’s a “waitlist.” She denied any knowledge of units being available now (not in the future) and that there are

Location is AMAZING. It was great to walk/bike down the street to the back bay. I would bike from the back bay all the way to work in Irvine (along the San Diego Creek Trail, was a 5 mile ride, no streets). The main gardener is a friendly guy. My dog didn't like him though (I tried to explain the difference between mailmen and gardeners, but she is set in her ways). Lived there for a year from 2016-2017. Would have given them a 5 if they gave me back a reasonable amount of the deposit. I got exactly half of it back. I'd say we left the place in pretty good condition; they cited dog urine on the carpet as one of the main problems, but I disagree with their assessment (and that shouldn't cost as much as they claimed). Amazing Complex! Love living here! The Complex manager is super nice and cares about each person! Lived here for almost 2 years. Perfect location and great pricing!

I was so sad to leave this place. The highest level of customer service, amazing maintenance staff, and beautifully renovated apartments. I recommend to anyone searching for a new home :)

Pool is not heated. In the middle of the flight path it is very loud. Sidewalks are moving and not even. Not Adu accessible.
