Nest Property Management

Upgrading my review to 4 stars. Although the cockroaches at Valley Forge were terrible, they aren't as bad as the cockroaches running Pace Property Management. The staff at Nest Property Management treat their tenets CONSIDERABLY better than Pace does. I’ve lived here for 3 years and the first 2 years were great. However, they switched up their pest control and now The Valley Forge property is invested with cockroaches. I’ve asked them multiple times to do something about it, but they obviously don’t care about their tenants because there has been no improvement even though they claim they are taking care of it.

I have been renting my apartment from nest for 4.5 years. They’re fantastic to work with. Ann is my neighbor and friend. She is very wonderful at her job and really cares about her tenants. Brad is great also and gets the hard work done in a timely manner. The office is fabulous too. Thank you for giving me a great place to live and feel safe here.

Had a showing today with this company. The house and layout are pretty nice, but it is in need of some work. When I asked whether they were planing to spruce up the place since the last tenants lived there for 4 years the response was "No, it's an old house, the wear and tear are normal". I don't think that pilling paint,, cracks on every wall and the paint that long ago was white but now became of a yellowish dirty colour are ok. I mean, if you want to get people rent your property, you have to at least try and bring it to a condition that is liveable but not bearable. That's why it is important to go and look at places and talk with company agents to omit the stress of renting with them.

This is the first property management I've ever rented from and they are awesome. I've been renting with them for almost 3 years. The maintenance team has been timely and respectful when working on the property. Also my property manager always responds to my emails and concerns in a timely manner. I expect to continue renting under this property management because they are great fit for me.

I’m renting for the first time from Nest. It’s been nearly six months. After my horrible experience with my previous property management company, I had no idea how it would go with Nest. But they have reset the bar in Iowa City. They’ve always been kind, helpful, apologetic when needed, and honest. That’s all I’ve wanted when renting. Example: when the clothes dryer had an electrical fire, they told me exactly what to do to be safe, and then the maintenance person came to make sure everything was safe. (Also the maintenance person is very professional.) Two days later, Nest installed a new dryer. I can give you a dozen examples like this. I’m a mature woman and integrity and honesty matter to me. I’d rent from Nest again.
