Mulberry Place Apartments

Me and my boyfriend have lived here for almost 3 years and honestly it's been a pretty great experience overall! We had some issues here and there with our fridge and AC system, but all were fixed/replaced in a timely manner. Location is great. Communication between us and landlord has always been great. Our main maintenance guy, Jake, is awesome and always gets the job done!! Neighbors are mostly friendly. Parking was sometimes an issue but with the new paint job on the parking lots, seems like there is less of a problem now. All in all, great value for as much space as you get and the location you can't beat. Love renting here! :)

This place was nice at first. They got us with the decent price for a 3 bedroom apartment, but it looked NOTHING like the pictures online. The parking lot is small and people will always park in your designated spot, your car will get broken into, the doors don't close all the way.. there's so many problems with this place. Our breaking point to move out of this place was because this area is NOT safe. Our roommate was on our patio outside and was robbed at gun point. There's a gap in the fencing behind the building where people come in from Savannah hwy and this complex is also a stones throw away from a very unsafe part of the neighborhood. We aren't the only ones that have been robbed, some of our neighbors had their apartments broken into!! We let the landlord know and she didn't care

Pros: -Neighbors are mostly friendly -Spacious place, with storage closet under the stairs -Location! So close to highway 17, i-526, West Ashley Bikeway and Greenway, and Downtown CHS -Price - I think this is a rent controlled area, making it the most affordable living one can find -Maintenance responsive during late night emergencies, friendly and helpful team -The complex recently got a new roof, new parking lots, and there is a bridge/gazebo built by the pond. Cons: -Area not safe! I lived her with another young professional and we felt the need to get a door jammer to keep from break-ins. We also had patio furniture stolen, men digging through our trash, and men hanging out on our patio late at night and leaving behind items - High water bills!! Water bill was 3x what it was in my oth

Awesome location! Really convenient to everywhere I need to be. Also, the property management company is easy to communicate with and they’re doing a lot of upgrades around the community and in the interiors of the apartments. New landscapers have helped the community a lot too! The neighbors are really nice too!

I've lived here for a total of 12 1/2 years so enough said :). I love that it's spacious and I'm near all the best locations and quick access to downtown and 526. These townhomes are nicely built and the rooms are very spacious. It has been great having Michelle as management. She makes it easy to keep in touch when needed and does her best.
