Mountain Valley Cabins

I stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin for a weekend with a larger group of friends, who stayed in the larger cabin. These were by far the most thoughtfully curated rentals I have ever stayed in. The thought to detail and comfort were above and beyond, every inch was spotless, the surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and close to great hikes. Going on vacation takes precious time and resources, so it’s so nice when someone puts so much care and effort into making the accommodations a perfect get away. A+ 10/10 5+ stars!!

We came to the Mountain View Cabins in September for a quick getaway and to celebrate my husband's birthday. The cabin was so homey and cozy, it felt like our former home in PA. The carpet, towels and bed were just delightful, as was the fabulous hot tub. The cabin itself is impeccably kept and has everything you would need and then some. Jeanne and John have thought of everything and are super responsive and lovey people. Unfortunately I had broken my toe the day before our arrival so our hiking plans got put on hold this trip, but there is so much to do in the area- or not- as you prefer! I curled up in the comfy recliner with a good book as soon as we got there. I cannot recommend these cabins or their owners highly enough. One caveat, there is no water on the property. My husband and I stayed here for some much needed relaxation and quality time together and we are so glad we did! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the view. The cabin is very clean and the owner’s attention to detail made this the perfect getaway for us. We have stayed at several rentals and this was, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. The bottle of wine was such a nice gesture and we will definitely be returning!

Can’t wait to plan me and my husbands next weekend getaway. It was absolutely lovely. Very quiet, accommodating, and cozy! The hot tub and the view was breathtaking. Definitely a wonderful place to unwind and spend quality time together. Hosts are very nice, easy check in and check out. There binder they had in the cabin was very helpful. If you like taco’s and beer I highly recommend Pillow Brewing Co.!

Amazing place to take a break from "life". The cabin was plenty big enough for just 2 people. Fully equipped. Very clean. The bed is like a cloud. The hot tub was the perfect ending to the day before turning in. Our host(ess) Jessica was very accommodating & genuinely friendly. I highly recommend and we will be going back.
