Moorpark Garden Apartments

I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before moving here. My experience at this complex was extremely disappointing. Management was unprofessional and often hostile toward tenants, which made communication very difficult. Maintenance issues, including serious plumbing problems, took months to be addressed. When we followed up, we were often given excuses rather than solutions. At one point, a maintenance worker even said he wasn’t paid enough to properly handle repairs, which explains the lack of quality service. At times unsafe due to questionable activity happening around the property. If you value responsive management and timely maintenance, this is not the place for you. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This is long overdue, but I highly recommend the Moorpark Garden apartment community. Adriana and Octavio are an incredible team to have on-site. They are friendly, kind, responsive, and efficient with both their roles in site management and as members of the community. The apartments themselves are well-maintained, spacious, and quiet. My time in California was limited to a move just before the onset of the pandemic and a departure at the end of this long, difficult period. It was an incredibly challenging time personally and professionally, and they both made my stay a lot easier. So much so that Adriana left me a voicemail early on in the pandemic to see if I needed any food...She knew I just started my business and finances were incredibly tight. You can't top that, can you? Updated Review: The review below was when I first moved to Moorpark Garden Apartments. I continued to live there for 2 years and only recently moved to be closer to family. It was a difficult decision as Moorpark Garden truly felt like home. I had zero complaints and my experience over 2 years was a great one. Adriana and Octavio were always incredibly helpful, nice and friendly. Community members are mostly families and everyone is courteous, friendly and respectful. Of all the apartment communities I have lived at in the Bay Area over the last 15+ years, this community was most definitely my favorite. This is one of the best places we have ever lived. Adriana and Octavio are really helpful and friendly. Maintenance was super quick and we never faced issues. I wish we didn't move. I highly recommend this community.
