Monopoly Place Duplexes

Worst place I’ve ever lived. My unit had repeated flooding and a moldy odor, and I discovered that the previous tenant had black mold, which they apparently did not properly remediate. I had health issues that began about a month into my time living there. I did a mold test and detected mold, and had to pester them for months to address it, and their response was to refer to the ‘mold addendum’ they make you sign when you move in, basically stating mold is a part of every day life, who’s to say if it causes any medical issues, and you can prevent mold by cleaning properly. Never mind the repeated flooding, the evidence of black mold which I know they did not properly remediate (I have photos), and the lab test that showed current mold. Love it here. Great location, White Rock Lake is less than a mile away. Been here since 2017. Christy and Lisa in the office have always responded to my questions and requests. The maintenance staff always follow through. They are an awesome group of good people. The owner visits regularly and they are constantly making upgrades to the properties, plus they mow the front lawns and keep the trees trimmed. It's cool that they have a yearly neighborhood yard sale, send you a birthday balloon greeting, and Holiday greetings with a little surprise gift. The owner even sent out a 50.00 check to help out when the recent storms knocked out the power. I'm glad to call MP home.

A place to call home! Great staff, amazing neighbors and a fabulous location. I've lived here for well over a year and have no complaints. Leasing staff is the best and has been friendly from day one... I was greeted with a well thought out welcome gift, filled with everything you didn't know you needed on moving day. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and guys are super nice and respectful. The neighborhood itself is more of a community, neighbors are friends and look out for one another. I love the location, it's nestled back in a horseshoe shape and very quiet and quaint! Also, very pet friendly!

I recently moved into Monopoly Place Duplex and it’s been a great experience. The neighborhood is always serene & peaceful. I’ve had the best sleep the last 4 months I’ve had in years. The people that live in this duplex community have been respectful and friendly. Monopoly Place Duplex is walking distance from eclectic restaurants and White Rock Lake walking/jogging/biking/hiking trails. I feel safe in this area. Christy & Lisa in the management office have been kind & take the time to know you personally. I’ve not had interaction with maintenance yet as my duplex has not had repair issues. It’s great living in a house *no more stairs* & it’s enjoyable to grill in the private, fenced in backyard. Monopoly Place Duplex has a wonderful community and I’m happy to be a part of it.

We have lived at Monopoly Place for 6 years now. Since day one, the property management has been exceptional! They mow and trim trees and bushes in front yards, so the community always looks great. Any time I've called for maintenance, they respond & repair same day or next day. They do inspections on each unit twice a year, which makes me feel comfortable that things are being taken care of. The leasing staff are so friendly and helpful, and all residents receive balloons for their birthdays as well as a Christmas gift each year! The neighborhood is extremely quiet, and only a few blocks from White Rock Lake. We love it here, and hope to live here for many more years!
