Modera South Lake Union

I had one of the best tour experiences at Modera thanks to Jesse! He is super knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to answer every little query one might have. The property itself is quite lovely, clean and well fitted and is super close to offices in SLU while still feeling quite residential. Even though my husband and I eventually decided not to go ahead with the apartment because we needed a patio and the unit available did not have one, Modera will always be on my radar for other apartments that might open up.

This place really makes you feel at home. Jesse from the front office moved me in, and is now moving me out - it truly feels like I'm losing a family member there with how he has always gone above and beyond to help us out. The views of the Space Needle, and the convenience of having a bus stop right outside the front door - I couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much to the whole Modera team, you have forever held a high standard for what an exceptional renting experience looks like.

The leasing process for me went very smoothly thanks to Jesse. He was very attentive and always made sure I understood what documents and steps I needed to do next to finalize my lease agreement, thanks Jesse

Serena put little effort into providing us a tour of the building and units available. She didn't even give an introduction or asked for our names. We had to ask most questions, and basic information like where mail/packages will be delivered, garbage and elevator locations, community events, parking, reserving spaces, unit pricing / size, etc all had to be asked. There was no follow up after the tour either. With how little effort and engagement she showed during the tour, I'm hesitant about resident experience and how much management will care about resident satisfaction after moving in.

Edit 4/28: yet another break-in for our storage unit. The building has been aware of this problem since December and done nothing. I added a photo below of this. Instead of calling to let us know this time, they just sent a building-wide email. Sounds like cars have been broken into, as well. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Cannot wait to move out of this building. The community has gone significantly down hill since the last manager left earlier this year. We are at the point where we have to put in weekly request for very basic things - like the dog area trash being emptied. Also our storage unit was broken into twice with no real response from management. Would give everyone a ton of caution before moving in.
