I had an excellent experience working with Iveta during my application process. From the very beginning, she was patient, professional, and incredibly supportive. Tour went very well the leasing agent was very nice and knowledgeable and definitely sold me. But a few days later while calling back to apply due to an online issue. I couldn’t reach a single person over the phone for the full day which was very odd because I had spoken to someone around 9:30 this same morning. Even left a voicemail the morning of and got no call back. I did receive a follow up email but it was unrelated to my voicemail. It does not give me a good feeling of a responsive rental office if I moved here. I called over 6x
Misty Ridge is increasingly adopting Spirit Airlines' approach to fees, now charging residents for various services they can't opt out of. There is a mandatory trash service: don't tie your bag or use their trash can; they impose fines. Parking now requires payment to use the lot, yet there are no designated spots. The parking lot was a mess after snowfalls, with handicap spots untreated and maintenance in the rental office seeming indifferent. Residents spent hours clearing out their spots, and we’re told they can't save them; any items placed in the parking spots would be thrown away. They also did a poor job of salting and sanding the steps. Yet the rental office was 100% plowed and salted.
Over all I find the stay pretty peaceful. My not so hot take aways from living here was the fact that the portal wasn’t customer friendly and I had issues making payments online and often had to run around to get money orders.I also was not a fan of the frequent inspections throughout the year I get why it’s necessary but it often felt like an inconvenience because of how frequent it was done and I work from home.What I found outstanding about living here was the maintenance crew always on time ! Always ready to fix and very friendly! My memorable moment was with staff member IVy ! I want to give her 6 stars but there’s no option! I’ve lived here for almost three years and truly love my apartment and the community. Maintenance has always been pleasant and responsive, I’ve never had pest issues, and overall my experience has been very positive. My only complaint is parking and towing. The other day I was towed late at night and had to pay over $200 after parking in a guest space because there were no resident spaces available near my building. As a paying resident, I should not have to park several streets away or on the main road and walk back at night just to get into my home. The area is poorly lit beyond the immediate front of the buildings, and being a woman this situation felt unsafe. I believe resident parking should be prioritized over guest parking.
