Our experience with Mill Creek Custom Homes was exceptional throughout the entire process. The final product, our forever home, is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Once we signed, we were almost zero priority for Mill Creek. The framing crew destroyed multiple engineered beams. We had to hire an inspector and structural engineer after the project manager refused to fix the engineered beams. Their "plumber" destroyed several load-bearing walls. When my wife called, concerned about these walls, the construction manager laughed her off the phone. Their mason does not seem to follow many current building codes. Their painter is bad and their trim carpenter is worse. They promised us an 8 month build and drug it out for 25 miserable months. We were referred to Lance Abel and Mill Creek Custom Homes by a builder who did not build in Brazos County. From our first meeting with Lance and his team, we knew we were in the right place. They listened to our wants, needs, dreams and desires and did their best to make them a reality.
