Middlefield Village by Century Communities

I just bought a single detached home unit and got my keys yesterday. I turned on the AC and within minutes grinding sound is occurring. I had no information as who to call. I called the HOA and they gave me wrong contact. I called the home agent and no one came to fix the problem. I am forced to stay in hotel because of current heat wave. The so called home builder does not answer the phone call. The HOA claims they are not responsible. So I am back and forth getting no where. It is just disappointing how people don't want to take responsibility.

This place is terrible!!! The house was just slapped together! We even had to deal with a mold situation 6months into living in the home because it was poorly built!! The house is not leveled properly!! All the workers and staff are rude! And the worst part of it all is that it has the nerve to be HOA while they can’t even keep our power on!!! The power just turns off when it wants too!!! I’m sitting in the dark right now as I write this review, all while an entire rodeo up the street still has power to operate!! Stray dogs are everywhere kids can’t even walk to the bus stop because of all the dogs!!! I have been at this house for little over a year and it has not been good experience at all!!!! Don’t move here save yourself the time and the trouble!!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE SALE OF T

A home is a home and I am blessed to have a home. The neighborhood and its people are amazing, kind and we feel safe! The person in charge of our home at the time it was being constructed (Hayden) did an absolute poor job in maintaining the quality in the build of our home while it was constructed. During our closing walk-through, we had asked to have a few things fixed prior to move-in and those issues were only covered up. Ex: door was missing a chunk between both layers and some glue that deformed over time was placed. A/C was halfway working and final assembly was not completed. Sprinklers were not turned on and our grass completely died. A/C unit would short… During our walkthrough, we had brought up a few quality concerns (mostly cosmetic) and we received the comment by Hayden that

Gr8 community in great location..commute to dfw and dallas in just few minutes..builder with great responsibility on warranty support...I am 100% happy with century communities and 100% trust on their service..thanks
