If I could give zero stars, I would. Mid Valley Properties, Inc. (26901 Agoura Rd, Suite 180, Calabasas, CA) has been one of the most dishonest and frustrating property management companies I’ve ever dealt with. After moving out of 4615 Industrial St, Unit 1H, Simi Valley, they refused to return my security deposit or provide a valid itemized statement, as required under California Civil Code §1950.7. They lie about everything, make up false charges (including “forklift damage” when I never had one), and never provide proof, photos, or invoices for their claims. The roof leaked repeatedly during my tenancy, damaging my property, yet they ignored my repair requests and later tried to make me pay for unrelated repairs. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Mid valley put me out of business. I never missed a payment and had been operating the same business for over a year then they decided I was no longer able to preform the same work out of the unit as I have been doing from day one. And this was after they made me pay $1300 to fix a bay door that was already broken from the previous tenants. And this all happened in the middle of the pandemic. On top of that they had kept my deposit after I had got a written email saying that I left the property in perfect condition. That deposit was supposed to pay the last months rent and instead they sent me to collections further ruining my life. Say far away.
