Managment wasn’t the worst most of the time, but upon moving in our unit was dirty and filled with bugs. As our time progressed there we got black mold and our AC never worked properly. By the end of our stay there were cockroaches and bugs again. I would not recommend a student live here because (despite the rent) it is not cost efficient. The AC bills every month were extraordinarily expensive. We did not feel safe here our entire time of stay. So, extend your price range and go somewhere safer.

We lived in this complex for a year. This community of retired seniors and students respects each other and lives peacefully. The manager, Lisa, is a generous, helpful, understanding, and competent leader who puts the residents before anything else. The staff is kind and respectful; when something breaks in our apartment, they will fix it within a day. The management always communicates whatever news is essential for the residents. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to friends and family.

Lived here since November and this is a great apartment. The repair people always get stuff done in 48 hours, the office staff is nice, the pest control gives plenty of warning before they come by. I have loved living here. The area is quiet and safe, and close to ACU. Great for a college kid or recent grad to figure out their lives.

I wish I could give zero stars. My friend is staying at one of the duplex houses. First the previous tenant had stolen the air conditioning unit from the front of the house. So in Summer of 2018 when Abilene was quite hot, she had to wait weeks before the landlord decided to put in another air conditioner. Then she had to deal with the neighbors of the property stealing water from their hose. Additionally, there was mold that came up from a leak caused by the heavy rainfall last month and ruined her mattress and some furniture. We sent them the pictures and situation a week before Thanksgiving. Still have not repaired anything, just came in to "look" at it. With that water leaking under the house, it makes the house cold and very uncomfortable. I am moving her to a much better apartment i

If I could give a zero star rating I would. This company is a joke they lose documents, horrible customer service and they give you the run around on things. My advise don't use anything that Barnett & Hills does business with, because If Barnett & Hill is running it you will be screwed over guaranteed! Brandon Heard office supervisor is a D***, Cody office manager never knows anything, Mitch Barnett owner you can never get a hold of. All I am saying you will regret ever doing anything with them!!. I wish I could give them a negative rating.
