Meadows at Salem Run Senior Apartments

Yes! This was the place to live. However, something changed, maybe ownership? And it's not as sweet, kind and "transparent" as 3 years ago. Why do we need a pool table when most of our backs are out or a table shuffle board 5 people know how to play? Most of the renters are on Government Subsidy so rents have been raised horribly for those of us on fixed income. The past 8 months all activities have been resident provided. Management forgot about us. IDK...I have friends here and would love to stay. It's just getting difficult. We've already lost Jo, a top Management person. I've heard other's are leaving too. This is so sad. I do enjoy this place. FYI: over a year ago the new owners wrote the residents they would come, meet and address any issues we might have. None of us are holding o

Jo was so great to work with. She talked through everything with me, kept me updated, and made the move-in process easier than I thought it could be. The people in this community are warm, helpful and inviting. 10/10 recommend.

I moved here 6 months ago. Me and my young kitten really like the apartment. The management team Tomeka and Jo are very sweet. If you have a question or need something let them know. Tha maintenace is also so helpful. They will be there for you. The residents are friendly. It has been an exciting time.

I moved my mother and brother in 2017. The one thing I never worry about is the support of the management team. They keep the place running smoothly and looking good. What I appreciate most is how the manager (Tameka) listens and deals with my brother's many requests. In addition, her side kick, Jo Snow, is a superb, attentive, kind, and responsive professional whose personal touch and attention to detail speaks highly of the management and the owner. There are no perfect communities, but this one is unique and second to none of its kind in the Fredericksburg area..I have looked! And I just want to say…Thank you! JV

Jo Snow was absolutely fantastic to work with during the application process. Our friends (in their late 70’s) never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Jo patiently helped them decide on different options and fill out all the necessary paperwork (every single page)! It was very evident that she is invested in the people of the Meadows community. She knows each resident by name! I love that and highly recommend the facility for the seniors you love.
