We recently worked with this title company while selling our home. While there were some positives, our overall experience left a lot to be desired. On the positive side, Vickie and Molly were quick to respond to our questions, which we appreciated. However, we often had to reach out for information we expected would be proactively provided — such as the timing of the mobile notary, a clear breakdown of fees, and other important details. More concerning were the multiple instances of conflicting information we received throughout the process. One example was being told we would receive confirmation once the closing documents were signed and funded — but that never happened. Worked on a transaction with the McKnight team for multiple months which involved a lengthy lien resolution process. Finally got the clear to close and then, one business day prior to closing, McKnight's attorneys decided to completely drop the transaction and refuse to close due to a personal/behavioral dispute between them and the seller's attorney. This cost everyone involved time, money and resources after needing to switch the title company and restart the entire process from scratch. Fortunately, the transaction was ultimately closed but this is the definition of feelings getting in the way of business. Just beware that they may drop everything dead one day prior to closing.

I went in expecting the full VIP treatment at this title company, and what happened? Not even a single photo shoot. No red carpet, no professional lighting, not even a selfie backdrop! How am I supposed to brag about closing on a house if there’s no staged Instagram picture to prove it? Seriously, what is this—paperwork and signatures only? Very disappointed. seriously though, everything rushed. Got the feeling I was not welcomed, hearing how they treated others with gift cards, photos, I could tell immediately I was not really wanted there.

Excellent and thorough service from the beginning to the end. Kim was excellent and made this transaction quick and easy. Everyone at the office is courteous and welcoming. We enjoyed working with McKnight Title and highly recommend it.
