I have lived in one of their properties that they manage for 5+ years now and this place is trash! I initially moved down here for the amenities pool , dishwasher, w/d in unit, downtown living, etc. The pool was open 1 year in over 5 years. The living downtown isn’t what I thought but easy access to highways. Let’s start with the maintenance men showing up to fix stuff drunk and 1 of them was stealing out of my apartment and other’s apartments. It has mold everywhere from all of the leaks and flooding. It has gotten worse since they’re about to renovate. They sent someone over to paint over the mold; not treat the mold. So my hot water tank is leaking badly like real bad ! They come over and drain it ; leave the machine for me to keep draining it ( as if I work for them ). I do that for a

South City @ Foote Park: Not only did their property turn out to be the worst rental experience to date, but dealing with corporate to return my deposit is also so unprofessional and painstakingly tedious. I moved out in July it is now December and guess what NO DEPOSIT! Each time I call I’m transferred to a number that does not answer nor call back. Like this is RIDICULOUS. From my rental experience I should’ve followed my first mind hired my lawyer and went to court because I had a case but no I decided to fulfill my lease and vow to never move here again. Unbeknownst to me my problems wouldn’t stop there. This is hell of unprofessional, but based on my rental experience I shouldn’t have had high expectations for their corporate team. I only want my deposit so I can avoid this company f

We have been resided at Murphy park for years. And the property manager and Micah and Melanie are all very rude. And when you ask for something to get fixed, I don't get fixed. You have to go higher up even though someone in your family has to get hurt. Really bad before they do anything and that's not to come to that. So I hope they like getting served papers and we are going to be asking for every dime we have paid them for years and also We get told by higher up to be nice to their workers. When we are nice to them, they're not nice to us.And we get cussed out by the maintenance worker , not saying no nameWe get told by higher up to be nice to their workers. McCormack Baron is the worst managing company ever the senior building I live was new just 13 months ago now without any maintenance it has become a nightmare. The hallway floors are not even clean and the outside campuses is not secure. The manager here has recruited Senior minions from the complex Who’s harassing the tenants and their families on the yard daily making this an unhappy and dangerous place to live. This building is a dump of a place it only took the manager and staff 13 months to destroy this site.

It seems as though most management companies servicing the most vulnerable populations seem to have the worst reviews. I'm making a GreenBook and adding McCormack Baron, Renters Warehouse, & Provident properties. If any tenant would like to add their complex reachout to me & I will provide information where to send information and photos. It's also best to upload photos and information to your social media page as well to get the word out quickly. Contact your political representatives also, along with your local government departments if you're having issues. Management companies that have a high turnover is usually reflected on the company, a toxic work environment, etc., not the employee. Read the reviews & if their apartments are NOT well maintained, HUGE RED FLAG!
