I've been renting from McAfee realty for 14 years. They are an amazing group of people. The owner is down to earth and always makes sure she sends maintenance as soon as an issue arises. 10/10 i would recommend

Never rent from this place. They do not take care of their properties, the only time they clean the halls is when the inspector comes by, her "maintenance" guy does not know what he's doing, I had a leak for several months before having to file a complaint with the county to finally get it fixed and still have a hole in the ceiling because they haven't replaced that yet either, and then bring me a replacement refrigerator because the old one leaked horribly that was 1- 30 years old and 2- had a dead mouse in it. The only constant with this place is your rent will go up every year.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a house fire at my rental and was searching for a home. Few people on Facebook told me to try McAfee realty. I went online, looked at their available rentals and send an email. After approximately a week and I didn't hear anything from anyone I called and left a message. A very nice young lady called me back answered all my questions I did tell her my circumstances. She told me to go online fill out an application for the home that I was interested in pay the fee and I should know within 3 days of my application. After the 3 days I waited a few more and then called back no one responded. Instead a week later I received an email of denial. I got approve for the place on 1615 e 14th. I paid my deposit with the application to on fee. I was schedule to move in March 5. On that day it came, Roberta had me meet Scott the Maintenance guy. I told him before I paid the rent I wanted to a walk through. As I started my walked through I notice roaches, the refrigerator didn’t have a handle and when I open the refrigerator and freezer their were dead roaches and other bugs. I called Roberta whole Scott standing by me and I asked her could she give a new refrigerator because the one I’m looking at doesn’t look good. She told me no she couldn’t do that, she missed pest control and busy, and she doesn’t want to rent to me no more because I won’t comfortable. I couldn’t even put a fight about it.
