DO NOT RENT FROM MAXIMUS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT If I could give zero stars, I would. Renting from Maximus Property Management has been nothing short of a nightmare. They consistently demonstrate blatant disregard for tenant rights, habitability standards, and basic human decency. From the start, communication has been evasive, dismissive, and hostile whenever we’ve raised legitimate concerns. Don’t be fooled by their “friendly” front desk staff — it’s like they run a gaslighting boot camp over there. Everyone starts off nice, but give it a few weeks and they’ll all be just as dismissive and deflective. Avoid at all costs. Extremely unprofessional management company and holds onto your deposit for way past the deposit return date. I lived at one of the buildings this company manages, communications had always been terrible, from things needing to be fixed in the apartment to moving out. I emailed and called them several times but no response or responded days later. Terrible at communication and now that I have moved out they are holding onto my deposit, called them several times but no one picked up almost impossible to reach. Extremely unprofessional. Stay away!!

We live in one of their buildings, and the roof is caving in despite messaging them countless times for years about the issue. I also lived in one of their other properties back in 2017-2018, and they raised the rent by $500/mo so I had to move. I wish they'd stop buying the buildings I live in. They are shameless. Edit: Perhaps they just manage properties, but nonetheless, they are part of a system that suppresses tenants from exercising their rights. They act as a middle man, creating a barrier between tenants and landlords, and thereby minimizing communication between landlords and tenants. Claire (our only point of contact currently) is also incredibly rude.
