Marvin & Floyd Realty Inc - Association / Property Management

I have worked closely with Marvin & Floyd Realty during time spent volunteering for my community. They are highly experienced in understanding HOA rules and governing statutes, as well as management of the association’s financials. Karen Floyd received high praise for her expertise from the person who worked on our association’s reserve study a few years ago. He is someone who has a great deal of experience working with property managers,so I was pleased when he told me how professional and responsive she was during that process. Working with HOA’s will always be challenging, so I am pleased that our community has had many years of competent management from Marvin & Floyd.

I have worked with several local management companies. In my opinion Marvin & Floyd are heads above the others. Karen Floyd has made herself available to assist with every situation whenever ask. No management company is perfect, some just better than others. Marvin & Floyd at the top of my list. Those that have given poor reviews either don't understand the difficulties a management company deals with or haven't a clue the work to balance dealing with owners, renters, COA board all within the laws of the state.

I think Marvin and Floyd do a pretty good job. I am not related, friends nor know them personally except in regards to my property. The problem with these companies is that the Board of the HOA controls what they can and can't do. They are simply the execution arm and while they should certainly return an email or call - many times they are left at the mercy of the HOA. Give them another try....they are responsive to me almost all of the time.

Hi this is Joe Floyd of Marvin & Floyd Realty. I just felt compelled after reading some of these reviews to respond in some way. We here at Marvin & Floyd strive very hard to do the best job possible in an almost impossible line of work. When your job is to notify people of delinquent accounts, property violations , increases in monthly fees and addition of new special assessments you really can't expect to receive an abundance of support from the people on the receiving end of this. Most people do not seem to understand we are just carrying out the directions we are given by their board of directors.

The Marvin & Floyd Team have managed our community for nearly 10 years. Hands down the best property management company. They have the knowledge and expertise to manage any situation that comes along whether its just a problematic situation or one that deals with the Florida Statues. The team will go above and beyond for their clients. For example, the days away from their office that they spent defending our community in court. Do your community a favor, and at the very least meet the Marvin & Floyd Realty team!
