Martin Signature Properties

VERY OLD outdated apartments, has no urgency to fix things you have to keep calling to get anything fixed. Property management is very poor. Would not recommend

My wife and I have had a very positive experience renting from Martin Signature Properties. We were met with professionalism and kindness from the very beginning of our moving process. Christina provided such clarity and moved the process along for us since we needed to move rather quickly due to a family emergency. She really understood our needs and delivered with exceptional professionalism and empathy through and through. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to resettle into a new home.

About 5 years ago we rented from them, over on black oak drive, while in the process of moving with nearly a week left on our lease, we came back to our place with the doors locks changed, after getting ahold of them they came out and unlocked the doors, I walk in to all of our stuff thrown all over and stolen including me and my children’s social security cards, baby clothes, birth certificates, and a lot more. I had neighbors say they saw management come in and take our belongings, when I confronted them they hung up on me. I would highly suggest not renting from these people for your own safety and for your family’s safety

I had been looking at properties for several weeks before moving to Ohio and after getting a job offer, I then focused on areas close to work. Found a rental through Martin Properties and set up a tour of the apartment. I was looking for a ground level unit and luckily this complex did not have their ground level apartments sunken into the ground like most other apartment complexes in the area. The unit had lots of windows so it doesn't feel so dark which will help when we set the clocks back. I did notice a few issues with the unit after viewing it, but Christina assured me the maintenance team would deal with them before anyone moves in. The only issue with the application form is that you cannot save your progress and come back to the form at a later date. I had to get some backup

Moved to Ohio recently because of a job transfer and Martin Signature was the first place I rented from. My first two months I went without hot water, I went with no central air for all of June and July last year and then when I moved out the charged me for things I put on my checklist when I moved in. Ex:( dry erase board on back of a bedroom door) I thought it was fine and they charged me 100 from my security deposit for something I never used nor did I put up. Christina is really rude. She hung up on me several times and ignored my text and calls when I was fed up about not having central air because i told her i was putting my rent into an ergo account and had a lawyer. Air was fixed 2 days later after i had already went all summer without it. I should have read the review first becaus
